alt Andrew Mackintosh MBChB, FRANZCOG, FRCOG
Completed his under-graduate medical training at the University of Otago and Wellington Hospital. Post-graduate training was at National Women’s Hospital in Auckland and at Hillingdon, Poole and St. Thomas’ Hospital (London, UK). He worked at National Women’s Hospital as a gynaecological surgeon and gynaecological oncology surgeon until 1999 and is now performing surgery at Ascot Hospital. He is fully trained in gynaecological laparoscopic surgery, is a member of the International Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy and is actively involved in clinical pathological review of gynaecological cancers.


alt John Whittaker MBChB, FRANZCOG, MRCOG, CGO
Graduated at the University of Otago in 1977. Completed general O&G training in the UK and New Zealand and then two years training in Gynae Oncology at Gateshead in the UK. Works as a Gynae Oncologist at National Womens Hospital as well as in private practice. Obtained CGO (Certificate in Gynaecological Oncology) in 1998 and is actively involved in clinical pathological review of gynaecological cancers.

Ai Ling Tan MBBS, DipObs, FRANZCOG, MRCOG, CGO
Graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1984. Postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at National Womens Hospital and Brighton Hospital in the United Kingdom. Since 1994 has worked as a specialist Obstetrician Gynaecologist both at National Womens Hospital and in private. Underwent formal subspecialty training in Gynaecological Oncology in Sydney and Melbourne to obtain certification in gynaecological oncology (CGO). Currently working as a Gynaecology Oncologist at National Womens Hospital and Ascot Hospital. Other areas of interest include preinvasive lower genital tract disease and vulvar conditions.

Completed medical training at the University of Auckland Medical School, Auckland, New Zealand. Post-graduate training in obstetrics & gynaecology was carried out at National Women’s Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand; St Mary’s Samaritan Hospital, Paddington, London, UK and The Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester, UK.

Chern Lo MBChB, Dip Obs, Dip Paeds, FRANZCOG
Graduated from Auckland Medical School in 1993. Post-graduate training in obstetrics and gynaecology at National Women’s and Northshore Hospitals, Auckland; Taranaki Base New Plymouth and the Flying Obstetrics & Gynaecology Service in Queensland, Australia.

Since 2006 she has been working as a consultation in obstetrics & gynaecology at Middlemore Hospital as well as developing a private general gynaecological surgery practice at Ascot Hospital with areas of special interest including colposcopy and laparoscopy.
